Somewhere between fighting off giant locusts and battling my kin in bumper boats, I've managed to survive to see my 19th birthday.

Giant locusts? Bumper Boats? Kin? If you haven't noticed, I'm not home right now. I've retired to the good ol state of florida, and I'm enjoying 2 weeks of relaxation and impending sunburn.

I'm hoping to do a bit of shopping, pick up a few gifts for my second family back home in the mitten. As for my birthday? I have a pineapple cake topped with whipped cream and cherries in the fridge dying to be digested. I was hoping for some black cherry ice cream to wash it down with, but alas, we couldn't find any. Oh well, probably for the best considering I'm lactose intolerant heh.

I've managed to hook up my laptop, you know, the screenless one, to a monitor my uncle had in storage. Unfortunately, his router isn't working so he has to take it back. So there's no wireless in his house. If I want to connect I have to sit out on their back porch and hope I pick up some wireless from unsuspecting neighbors, and then hope I don't get kicked.

Well, I'm off to mosey about the yard, fall into the pool and tan it up.

Been a while eh?

Well well. What to write here.

Not much going on I guess. Homework has taken the best of me. But I manage to find some time to myself to keep me sane.

I've made a lot of friends in college. Which I'm thankful for.

My art style has slowly been changing. (For the better I hope)

so I hope you guys like it.

Alrighty.

Back from my surgery. Yes, I am alive

How'd it go? well... it could have gone better. I'll say that.

First I woke up at 4:30 am to take a shower and get ready to go. Then we left at 5:30 am to the hospital. No traffic thankfully, but we did manage to pull into the doctors parking by accident. heh.

Once we found a parking space and got into the right building I checked in and they had me put on this lovely gown that was way too big for me (i understand why but seriously, the thing was falling off my shoulders XD ) and of course no one told me I needed to give a urine sample to see if I was pregnant >.> Dumb me should have figured. heh

Once I got all cozy in my bed and filled out the papers they wheeled me into the recovery room where they had to put in my IV, put the funny lil hat on me and once again have me sign even more papers (yay >.> ).

Well, after shopping around for a good vein for about 5 or 6 minutes the lady decided to use the best one she could find. Unfortunately once I saw her shaking her head through the corner of my eye I knew it hadn't worked T.T Dumb veins bursting >>; So instead they went for my inner elbow (is there a name for it? Elbowpit?). This time a different nurse did it and it didn't hurt AS much. After talking to me a bit they finally gave me some medicine. An antibiotic and something to relax me...and make me loopy as hell

I swear, I don't remember even speaking or hearing my mom speak. Apparently, every time my mom said a certain relatives name I would laugh hysterically. So she decided to try everyone else's names. Nope, nothing. But once she said his name again I burst out laughing.

Somehow I remember them taking me into the actual surgery room and getting ready. Strapping me down and such. Once they put the anesthesia in my IV though I was OUT. man, it was so much faster then breathing it in like last time.

So, the surgery takes about an hour, the doctor has a bit of a hard time getting the actual gallbladder out because of how big the stones are. x.x;; Then I wake up... oi x.x;;;;

I can't remember exactly when I woke up. I believe it was right after they took the tube out of my throat. I began thrashing around in my bed though, I clearly remember that. I could hardly breathe and it was impossible to take deep breaths like I kept hearing them say. Man it hurt so much I seriously though I was going to die. Eventually they gave me some more medication though to get me to calm down and they gave me a breathing treatment and put me on oxygen. My mom says they had to strap me down >>;; I'm so glad I only woke up for a few seconds at a time in recovery for my last surgery. Because that scared the hell out of me. >>;;

I managed to wake up a little in the recovery room finally able to breathe and such and the nurse asked where it hurt and gave me medicine. yay medicine. I was out for a few more hours after that and finally woke up and drank some water because I was thirsty as hell. Hate the stupid tube thing >>; Ate a piece of graham cracker and a salteen and they made me get up and walk around and sit in a chair and such. You know, normal after surgery things.

I did fine and they wheeled me out to the car and I went home. My mom got me a soft bear <3 like SUPER SOFT <3 now I can only eat crackers and noodle soup for a few days but oh well. Its nothing like I had to do last time (crackers and soup for a month).

The incisions are small, 4 total. 3 on my upper belly (near the top of my ribcage) and one near the belly button. now I have a bunch of scars >.>; They used that nifty glue to hold the incisions together. And my belleh is all orange from the stuff they put on me >.> but I can't take a shower for 24 hours x.x;;

man, I just HAD to have surgery on my sisters bday. Her cake is a big brownie that I can't have D: </3 oh well now the gallbladder won't be giving me HELL so I can finally eat stuff without doubling over :3

*yawns* Too bad I can't drive for 3-4 days. Was going to go to my friends house for the weekend and drive her around shopping. Now I'm gonna have to find a different way to get us around town.

Now I should be off sleeping and recovering and such. Still sore so yeah. Laterz!

Been awhile.

Currently moving. Should be all moved in this coming Friday. Was kind of a random move so it took me by surprise x.x

What else is knew? uhh, waiting for information about what I need to bring to college from my college. They sent me something about still needing to pay my commitment fee ($100) But I've already paid it and they've cashed the check >>; So I'm hoping it was something they sent out by accident or before they got my commitment fee. Or else we're going to have a problem >>

Other then that I've been revamping alot of my stories lately as I take 10 minute breaks while I pack and move things onto the trailer and unpack at the new house. (as you can tell from my recent digimon uploads)

Not sure if I'm going to start these new stories in comic form or not yet. Need something to do as I'm recovering from my surgery August 15th I suppose. Which, btw, I just found out today the date I have my bloodwork done before the surgery. August 1st. Hate getting my blood drawn. x.x

I'll probably be gone the weekend of August 3rd. Trying to find times to hang out with my best friend before she leaves for college in Alaska August 21st. Won't see her again till December probably.

Speaking of going off for a while. I move into my dorms August 29th. Because I can't get a student loan (dumb reasons I have to fix... ) I have no computer to take. And I NEED one. Yes, I realize there's a difference between NEED and WANT and I know this is a NEED situation. I'm going into Illustration/Animation and alot of the time we'll be working on computers. There's no way with how slow I work on my art I'll be able to get it done in a library or in class. I need a personal computer to work on x.x So I'm trying to find some way to get money for one. Which leads me to a question.

ANYONE KNOW SOMEONE IN DETROIT WHO'S HIRING??? I'm so unfamiliar with Detroit, I don't know where to start. Not quite used to big cities just yet. I'm sure I'll find something eventually. But yeah.

I think I'll stop babbling now and get back to work moving.
